Full course description
This course helps participants to meet the requirements of the following APPEL competencies:
| 1. Learners will demonstrate an understanding of Utah Core Standards (IC.1) . |
| 2. Learners will create learning intentions and success criteria that are aligned to Utah Core Standards (IC.2). |
| 3. Learners will design learning experiences aligned to learning intentions and success criteria (IC.3). |
| 4. Learners will provide opportunities for students to track, reflect on, and set goals for their learning (IC.5). |
| 5. Learners will allow students multiple opportunities and means for demonstration of competency (IC.6). |
| 6. Learners will analyze student assessment data, including both formative and summative assessments, to inform and adjust instruction (IP.3). |
| 7. Learners will employ a variety of assessments that allow all students to demonstrate learning (IP.4). |
| 8. Learners will provide feedback to students and parents that supports learning and growth (IP.5). |
| 9. Learners will provide formative and timely feedback to guide students in self-assessment of learning (LL.7). |
