My PL Introduction to Special Education

Students should come to an understanding of Free Appropriate Education (FAPE), Least Restrictive Environment (LRE), Behavior Interventions, implementing and assessing interventions, the use of curriculum modifications and providing appropriate accommodations to students with disabilities.  In addition, course participants will learn about Individualized Education Plans, 504 plans and the process for identification of such students.
