Full course description
The focus of this course is to provide a deep understanding of the areas of literacy, including oral language, phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, writing, and assessment. It also includes opportunities to learn about best practices for teaching literacy.Participants will gain knowledge of the areas of literacy as well as practical application for lesson delivery, by reading research articles and watching videos, planning, teaching, and reflecting on lessons taught.
